A Big Welcome to all my students - past, present and future!
I've been teaching painting professionally for more than 25 years and am grateful to have established a solid reputation as one of the finest instructors in this beautiful city. Well known for its many artists and galleries, San Miguel de Allende has been  designated as a "World Heritage Site" and it's no wonder. Not only is the city brimming with  Spanish colonial charm but its cultural activity is alive and inspiring. There is probably no better place on earth for  students of painting to set up and hone their growing skills. The weather is nearly perfect, making it possible  to paint "en plein air" year round.

If your preference is to work indoors, I reserve days of the week where we paint in total comfort  in my large, well appointed, brightly lit  studio in the historic centre of San Miguel.

So whether you're a beginner or advanced, join my students and I for the challenge and fun of painting one of the most inspiring places on the planet. You'll find I gently coax the best out of you while taking the mystery out of color mixing, perspective and the like. I specialize in  watercolor and oil but will also accommodate painters who prefer acrylic. Classes are short term or long, depending on the time you have to devote to them or the length of your stay. You'll find my prices to be very affordable and best of all you will be witness to rapid, obvious  growth in your skills and technique. I look forward to painting with you here in beautiful San Miguel de Allende, Mexico.
